Stopped by Slice House and got a medium 12 inch Motorhead pizza to go. Pizza was fresh and ready when we stopped by to pick it up. Service was friendly and the pizza was tasty. We felt like $30 pre-tip was a bit pricey for the size of the pizza but overall not bad.
I've been here twice and both times didn't disappoint. What i like about this place is that there are all different kinds of pizzas to try including New York style, Detroit style, grandma style, or Sicilian. No slices have disappointed so far. It's nice you can get an individual slice or order a whole pie, making this a great place for a quick spot for lunch. I was surprised at how fast they are when it comes to heading up the pizza too. Staff was really friendly and the inside is chill. Parking lot can get crowded since it's kinda small but the place itself is a chill pizza spot . While I miss the which wich in this location, I'm happy that the replacement for it was something that is delicious and has a variety of different kinds of pizza so everyone can pick and choose what they like or are in the mood for!
I love how Slice House has four crust options: NY, Detroit, Sicilian, and Grandma. We shared the Cal Italia with Grandma crust (4 slices) and the Combo Americano with NY crust (12", 6 slices). The Cal Italia was decent and worth the try. It had strong, pungent flavor from the three different cheeses balanced with salty prosciutto and sweet and tangy flavors from the balsamic glaze. However, we enjoyed the Combo Americano more, as toppings were abundant and each bite was meaty, salty, and had fresh and colorful crunch from the bell peppers and onions. There's several pizza toppings to choose from and the different crust options caters to your carb-craving preference. Pizza can take up to 20 minutes to make, so plan accordingly. They have a small, shared parking lot with other shops in the Belmont Village shopping complex.
I absolutely love this pizza place near me and highly recommend it to anyone! Specifically, this slice house in Belmont is fantastic. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. This is my fourth time here in December (I had it last night, 12/31/2024), and I had to leave a review. The pizza selection is great, and as someone originally from the East Coast (New York and New Jersey), this place reminds me of the famous Joe's Pizza in NYC, but with even better ingredients! Please give it a try--you won't regret it! FYI, they do get super busy during peak meal times, so if you want to enjoy your meal on time, I recommend ordering ahead!
Ever since I tried Detroit style pizza I've been looking for more places to try. This place did not disappoint! I ordered a four slice pizza, for delivery, not realizing the slices were huge! The edges were crispy with cheese and the sauce on top was yummy. I was only in town for two night but had the pizza for dinner the night I ordered, then heated back up (in an oven not a microwave) for breakfast the next two days. Still couldn't finish it. I'll definitely get it again when I'm back in the area.
